The Viral Canned Chicken Nuggets
Im new to this canned chicken thing, and not going to lie; i’m obsessed with how convenient and tasty these actually are! My second canned chicken recipe comes from “the viral canned chicken nugget” recipe made with 3 ingredients! Just the canned chicken itself, cheese, and egg for binder. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and delicious they turned out. I decided to spice with up a bit with paprika, garlic powder, and coated them in cheese crumbs for an extra crunch! I paired them with an “In N Out” style inspired dip and they were unbelievably addicting! Ps: if you haven’t realized by now, i’m a HUGE pickle fan, and I hope you are to!
Instructions:
Start off by shredding block mozzarella cheese or cheese of choice. Set aside. (If using pre-shredded, skip this step.)
Open canned chicken and drain excess liquid, and transfer to mixing bowl.
To chicken mixing bowl, add cheese, egg, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.
Form chicken “nuggets” by grabbing 1 in balls and gently pressing down into it starts to look like the shape of a chicken “nugget”. Continue until all chicken is formed into nuggets, set aside.
To a shallow plate, add cheese crumbs. Take one nugget at a time and press firmly into cheese crumbs to create a coating. Continue until add nuggets are coated. Set aside.
Airfry chicken nuggets at 390 F for about 12-15 minutes. Flip halfway.
While nuggets are air frying, make dipping sauce by combining equal parts Mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice. Combine well.
Once chicken nuggets are golden and crispy, let cool for a few minutes before eating.
