Pickle Juice Wings

Not gunna lie, but I forgot to flip my chicken wings halfway while air frying so one side was definitely crispier than the other… NONETHELESS it was still super JUICY and the pickle flavor was SOOO pickley !! If you are a pickle lover, this ones for you ! PRO TIP: don’t forget to use a fork to poke some holes in your chicken before brining !!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 lb chicken wing

  • 1 cup pickle juice

  • fresh dill

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 4 tsps ranch seasoning

  • 1 tsp dried dill

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt

  • 2 tsps sriracha

Instructions:

*Save some pickle juice for dipping sauce later .

  1. Brine your chicken overnight - Add chicken wings, pickle juice, smashed garlic clove, fresh fill, salt, black pepper, and 2 tsps ranch seasoning into a ziplock bag. Place in fridge for at least 24hrs.

  2. Remove chicken wings from brine and discard brine. Place chicken wings in a large mixing bowl and season with 1 tsp ranch seasoning, dried dill, baking powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Airfryer chicken wings at 400F for about 20 minutes. FLIP HALFWAY through cook time.

  4. While chicken is air frying, prep sauce- In a sauce bowl, combine greek yogurt, sriracha, pickle juice, 1 tsp ranch seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  5. Once chicken is cooked though, transfer to a serving plate with sauce on the side for dipping.

  6. Enjoy right away !
