Pate Butter Board
Butter boards are trending like crazy on my feeds right now and it took me awhile to hop on this trend because I didn’t know what I should add to the scene; As I was cleaning up my pantry I found an extra can of cured pork liver pate that I used from my last banh mi board recipe video and then it hit me like bulldozer… the rest is history . What you’ll need:
Servings: 4
1 stick of unsalted butter
1 tsp greek yogurt (optional)
2oz cured pork liver pate
hot Maggi seasoning
sriracha
japanese mayonnaise
1 cucumber
1 jalapeno
fresh cilantro
French baguettes
charcuterie board
parchment paper
Instructions:
Rinse and pat dry cucumber, jalapeno, and cilantro
-Chop cucumber and jalapeno into small pieces
-Rough chop cilantro
-Set aside
Assemble board
Spread 1-2 dallops of greek yogurt or any other sticky spread to top of butter board
*greek yogurt is acting as a “glue” to keep parchment paper from slipping
Place parchment paper on top of board
5. Using room temperature soften butter, spread over parchment paper
6. Using the back of a spoon, add dollops of pork liver pate in random spots over butter
7. Drizzle sriracha and japanese mayonnaise over butter and pate
8. Add a few dashes of hot Maggie seasoning over board
9.Add chopped cucumbers, jalapeno, and cilantro over board
10. Prepare baguette
-Slice into 1 in rounds.
-Airfry at 200F for about 2-3 minutes
11. Enjoy pate butter board by spreading butter pate mixture on top of toasted baguettes . Enjoy right away!
