Honey Walnut Shrimp
Don’t let the looks of this dish fool you. It took me less than 30 minutes to prep and cook this meal, and I promise that you’ll be shocked to find out how EASY it is to make. You will never look at Panda Express’s honey walnut shrimp ever again. Honey Walnut Shrimp is so delicate and the flavors of sweet and savory are immaculate. I love leaving the shell and tail on because it leaves a nice crunch!!
Instructions:
Start by rinsing, drying, and deveining shrimp. (I prefer leaving shell and tail on, but that’s up to you)
To a mixing bowl, add shrimp and season with 1 tsp garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to taste. Combine and set aside.
To another bowl, crack two eggs and mix well. set aside
To a shallow dish, add 1/2 cup almond flour and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. set aside
Take one shrimp at a time and dip into egg mixture, then almond flour and place shrimp onto a separate serving dish
Airfry shrimp at 390 for about 10-15 minutes. Flip halfway thru if desired.
Once shrimp is cooked and crispy, transfer into mixing bowl and toss with 2 T Japanese mayo and 2 T honey. Toss until shrimp is coated evenly.
Transfer shrimp onto serving dish and garnish with crushed walnuts and chives.
Enjoy !
