Gochujang Green Beans

These gochujang green beans were inspired by one of my favorite foods; KOREAN BBQ!! Gojuchang is a savory, sweet, and spicy fermented paste that you can literally add to anything. This is one of the most simplest, yet most delicious veggie dishes you can make. Try it with zucchini!

What you’ll need:

  • 8oz green beans

  • 10 large garlic cloves

  • 2 tbsp gochujang

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • flakey salt to taste

  • black pepper (optional)

So easy and quick to make with just 4 simple ingredients. These korean style green beans should come with a warning; they are seriously addicting.

Instructions:

  1. Start by chopping your garlic cloves and stir fry on med-high heat until fragrant

  2. Add green beans, gochujang, and oyster sauce and stir fry until green beans cook through; about 3-5 min

  3. Transfer to serving plate and drizzle with sesame oil and top with flakey salt

  4. Enjoy as a side dish or appetizer!
