Crab Rangoon Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno popper meets crab Rangoon. This delicious appetizer is sure to please all palettes and it is so easy to make! The savory and creamy crab rangoon paired with the crunchy and spicy jalapeño is seriously mouth watering. (Swap with mini sweet bell peppers if you don’t like jalapeño heat)! Love that they are also low carb friendly. Dunk them in some sweet chili sauce and you got yourself a match made in heaven.

What you’ll need:

  • 12oz or package of imitation crab

  • 6-8 whole large jalapenos

  • 1/2 block of cream cheese

  • 2 tblsp kewpie or Japanese mayonnaise

  • 2 tblsp sriracha

  • 1 tblsp ponzu sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 4-6 stalks of green onions

  • 2-4 slices Colby jack cheese

  • furikake

Instructions:

  1. Start off by shredding imitation crab

  2. Chop or break apart into imitation crab into small pieces and add to mixing bowl

  3. Add cream cheese, mayo, sriracha, ponzu, sesame oil, and green onions into mixing bowl

  4. Combine all ingredients together well and set aside

  5. Prepare jalapeños by slicing in half and removing stems and seeds

  6. Fill jalapeno halves with crab mixture

  7. Top with slice of cheese

  8. Airfry poppers at 350F for about 10 minutes or bake in a preheated iven at 400F for about 10 minutes

  9. Enjoy right away with your favorite sweet chili sauce!
