Canned Chicken Recipes— The Chicken Crust Pizza

If you’re looking for a low carb, high protein pizza— this is it. You can use fresh ground chicken if you’d like, but for the sake of my canned chicken recipe series, I used canned chicken (:

What you’ll need:

  • 12 oz canned chicken breast

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasonings

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • parchment paper

  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce

  • fresh basil

  • 1 chopped garlic clove

  • 1 sliced tomato

  • high quality olive oil— (optional for drizzle)

Instructions:

  1. Open canned chicken and drain liquid- place drained chicken in a mixing bowl.

  2. Add one egg, Italian seasonings, s&p to taste, and 1/3 cup shredded cheese— mix well breaking up chicken chunks until mixture turns into a paste.

  3. Take some parchment paper and add mixture on top gently pressing down and forming a round circle as your “pizza crust”.

  4. Airfry chicken crust at 400F for about 12 minutes and then remove and add toppings— marinara sauce, basil, chopped garlic, shredded cheese, and sliced tomatoes.

  5. Once toppings are done— place chicken pizza back into airfryer for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted through.

  6. Transfer cooked chicken crust to a serving plate and cut into pizza triangles—drizzle with some high quality olive oil and enjoy !
