What you’ll need:

Servings: 3

  • 12 oz firm tofu

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • 2 tsps japanese mayo

  • 2 tsps sriracha

  • 2 tsps sweet chili sauce

  • chopped green onions

Instructions:

*Make sure you are using previously frozen tofu that has been thawed out and defrosted— this is a must, as it changes the consistency of the tofu into a firmer and chewier texture!

  1. Start off by removing defrosted tofu from package and gently squeeze to remove excess liquid.

  2. Break off “chunks” of the tofu and place into a mixing bowl . Season with soy sauce, garlic powder, and sesame oil. Toss to combine .

  3. Airfry tofu chunks in one even single layer at 400F for about 20 minutes— be sure to slip halfway through cook time .

**You can also bake in pre-heated oven at 400F for about 30 minutes— flip halfway through cook-time.

  4. Once tofu is golden and crisp, transfer to mixing bowl while they’re hot and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper and toss to combine .

  5. Once tofu has cooled down completley— Add in japanese mayo, sriracha, and sweet chili sauce. (this is a taste and adjust sauce— add more sriracha for more spice, more japanese mayo for more creaminess, or add more sweet chili for sweetness. Toss to combine .

  6. Transfer sauced tofu to a serving dish and garnish with fresh sliced green onions.

  7. ENJOY!!
