Canned Chicken Recipes— Chicken Nuggets

Tasty, convenient, and super easy to make ! My kids love these— and they’re packed with protein to help you feeling full for hours ! Feel free to customize seasonings, cheeses, and dipping sauces ! What you’ll need:

  • 1 can chicken breast

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 cup ritz cracker crumbs

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 2 T pickle juice

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Start off by shredding block mozzarella cheese or cheese of choice. Set aside. (If using pre-shredded, skip this step.)

  2. Open canned chicken and drain excess liquid, and transfer to mixing bowl.

  3. To chicken mixing bowl, add cheese, egg, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.

  4. Form chicken “nuggets” by grabbing 1/2 inch balls and gently pressing down into it starts to look like the shape of a chicken “nugget”. Continue until all chicken is formed into nuggets, set aside.

  5. To a shallow plate, add ritz cracker crumbs or breading of choice . Take one nugget at a time and press firmly into crumbs to create a coating. Continue until all nuggets are coated. Set aside.

  6. Airfry chicken nuggets at 390 F for about 12-15 minutes or until nuggets are golden and crisp. Flip halfway through cooking time .

  7. While nuggets are air frying, make dipping sauce by combining Greek yogurt, salt, black pepper, and pickle juice. Combine well.

  8. Transfer golden nuggets and dipping sauce to a serving plate and let cool for a few minutes before enjoying !
