Eggroll In A Bowl 2.0

My OG eggroll in a bowl low carb recipe, but even better . This is the perfect easy weeknight meal that could be done in less than 30 minutes and is super tasty . I love eating it as is, but you can eat over rice or enjoy in a lettuce wrap ! One of my all time fav recipes— if you try, let me know how you like it !

What you’ll need:

Servings: 3-5

  • 1.5 lbs ground turkey

  • 2 tsp soy sauce

  • 2 tsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tsp chicken buillon

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 2 tsps gochuchang paste

  • 1 tsp white pepper

  • olive oil

  • 6 garlic (minced)

  • 12oz bag of shredded cabbage

  • 12oz bag shredded carrots

    (or you can make your own shredded veggies)

  • 4 stalks of green onions (chopped)

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • salt

  • Sriracha (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start off by seasoning ground turkey with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chicken buillon, gochujang paste, white pepper, ground ginger, and salt . Mix well to combine .

  2. Add some olive oil to a skillet pan or wok and heat to medium high . Once pan is warmed though add in minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant .

  3. Quickly add in seasoned ground turkey and stir fry until ground turkey is about 90% cooked through—

  4. Once turkey is almost cooked through, lower heat to medium low and add in shredded cabbage and carrots . Add in sesame oil and a little more soy sauce to season veggies— Mix well to combine .

  5. Once veggies are a little soft and ground turkey is complete cooked though, turn off heat and add in chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top .

  6. To enjoy, eat as is with some sriracha on top or add some over steamed jasmine rice or it would even be amazing in a lettuce wrap !
