Spicy Mayo Shrimp Protein Salad Lettuce Wraps
This shrimp salad recipe is near dear to my heart— it was one of my first recipes that went completley viral on TikTok and is one i keep on repeat at least once a week in my house! The shrimp salad is refreshing, savory, spicy, tangy, and it honestly hits all the right places— if you try it, let me know how you like it !
Instructions:
Place clean, peeled, and deveined shrimp to a mixing bowl and season with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add seasoned shrimp to airfryer tray in one even single layer and airfry at 390F for about 7-10 minutes.
While shrimp are air frying, diced cucumbers and avocado. Slice fresh jalapeños and set aside.
Once shrimp are airfryed and cooled— chop into bite sized pieces and add to a new mixing bowl.
Once chopped shrimp are completley cooled off, season with ponzu, sesame oil, sriracha, japanese mayo, greek yogurt, and add in diced cucumbers. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
*Feel free to adjust the sriracha and japanese mayo. Add more sriracha for more spicy, or add more japanese mayo if not using greek yogurt., or skip the japanese mayo and substitute with more greek yogurt.
To assemble, take clean romaine lettuce first, followed by seaweed snacks, some shrimp salad mixture, sesame seeds or furikake, some diced avocado, sliced jalapeños, extra sriracha drizzle, and enjoy !
