Pho Wings

These wings seriously will make your entire house smell like the pho — they are savory, nutty, and most all delicious. I like the addition of adding the extra “crack sauce” on top for sweet and spice! If you try these, let me know how you like them and if your house smelled like pho too lol !

What you’ll need:

Servings: 3

  • 3 lbs chicken wings

  • 2 tsps onion powder

  • 2 tsps turmeric

  • 2 tsps five spice

  • 1 tsp sugar or sweetener

  • 2 tsps baking powder

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • 4 tsps fish sauce

  • 1/2 juice of lime

  • 2 tsps honey

  • thai chili pepper

  • cilantro (chopped)

Instructions:

  1. Start off by placing clean and dry wings into a mixing bowl. Season with onion powder, turmeric, five spice, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine .

  2. Airfry chicken wings in one even single layer at 400F for about 20 minutes— be sure to flip wings halfway through cook time.

  3. While chicken are air frying, prep crack sauce— to a separate small mixing bowl, combine fish sauce, lime juice, honey, and some fresh minced thai chilis— ( you can sub with chili flakes if you want). Set aside.

  4. Transfer cooked chicken wings to a serving platter and baste the wings with the crack sauce. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro on top

  5. Enjoy !
