Airfryer Low Carb Everything Bagel Sandwich

WOW, JUST WOW. Ive been wanting to try this recipe out ever since it went viral on TikTok! Im not sure who the original creator is (If you do, please let me know). Ive only seen it done with regular flour and in a regular oven so I decided to recreate an airfryer low carb version ! It was definitely a hit in my household and is SUPER easy to make in your airfryer! Feel free to customize the fillings to whatever you have in your fridge; If you don’t have almond flour, you can substitute with regular flour for a regular carb option! I love everything bagel seasoning, but i’m sure this would be amazing topped with dried onion flakes, poppy seeds, or even furikake! If you try this, tag me—- I love your foodie photos (:

What you’ll need:

Servings: 4

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 tsps baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup low fat greek yogurt

  • 1 egg

  • everything bagel seasoning (optional)

  • sliced deli turkey

  • cheese

Instructions:

  1. To a mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients together— almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk well.

  2. Then add greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix with a fork or your hands untill well combined— Should look crumbly. (Add a tsp at a time of more almond flour if mixture is still too wet).

  3. Lightly dust some flour onto a clean work station and remove dough from bowl- Knead with hands until dough becomes tacky— About 15-20 times.

  4. Divide dough into four equal parts— Roll dough balls into thick ropes and join ends together to create bagels.

  5. Crack egg into a small mixing bowl and beat until yolks and white is completely mixed— Using a basting brush, top each bagel with some egg wash.

  6. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top

  7. Make sure the bottom of your airfryer is greased or use parchment paper to avoid bagels from sticking—Preheat your airfryer at 300F

  8. Transfer bagels into airfryer and airfry at 300F for about 15-20 minutes. Make sure you flip halfway through cook time.

  9. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing in half

  10. Prepare fillings— Cook your egg, warm up turkey, and melt cheese.

  11. Slice bagel in half, add spicy mayo, fillings, and ENJOY !
