Kung PAO Shrimp & Veggies

What you’ll need:

Servings- 4

  • 2 lbs jumbo shrimp

  • 2 tsp fish sauce

  • 2 tsp hoisin sauce

  • 2 tsp sriracha

  • 2 tsp oyster sauce

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

  • 1 onion

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 bell pepper

  • 6oz green beans

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • 1 stalk green onions

Instructions:

*Wash and dry all produce/ vegetables

  1. Place shrimp in a mixing bowl and season with fish sauce, hoisin, sriracha, oyster sauce, water, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  2. Prep veggies and set aside-

    A. Cut onion, bell pepper, and green beans into bigger pieces

    B. Mince garlic

    C. Chop green onions into small pieces for garnish

  3. Add some olive oil into a wok and heat up to medium-high. Once wok starts to smoke add in onion and garlic- Stir fry quickly to avoid garlic from burning.

  4. Once onions and garlic are fragrant, add in bell pepper and green beans and stir fry for a few minutes- Season veggies with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. Once veggies have some color, remove from wok and set to the side.

  6. Add in marinated shrimp and stir fry until shrimp are halfway cooked— add back in veggies and continue stir frying until shrimp is cooked though and sauce has thickened.

  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped green onions.

  8. Enjoy over rice, with a side Salad, or as is !
