Cheesy Marinara Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

What you’ll need:

Servings: 4-6

  • 2-3 large chicken breasts

  • 12 oz broccoli

  • 4 large garlic cloves

  • 8oz cream cheese

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 1 cup shredded cheese or block cheese

  • parmesan cheese

  • salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Start by chopping garlic cloves into small pieces and set aside

  2. Chop broccoli into smaller pieces and set aside

  3. If using block cheese, cut into small cubes and se aside.

  4. Prep chicken breasts by cutting into cube bite sized pieces and transfer into mixing bowl.

  5. To chicken mixing bowl, add broccoli, garlic cloves, cream cheese, marinara sauce, shredded cheese, salt/black pepper to taste. Combine well.

  6. Transfer all contents into baking dish and top with more cheese if desired

  7. Bake in preheated oven at 400F for about 25-30 minutes or until internal chicken temperature reaches 165F. (Oven time will vary due to chicken size and baking dish).

  8. Broil last 2 minutes if you added more cheese on top until cheese is melted and golden

  9. Garnish with freshly grated parmesan

  10. Let dish set and cool for at least 15 minutes before enjoying!
