Bang Bang Shrimp

Bang Bang shrimp is a staple for a quick dinner in my household. It so simple and east to make and done in less than 20 minutes! The crispy shrimp with the TAIL ON of COURSE gives you the perfect crunch underneath the deliciously tang flavors of the bang bang sauce! The sauce is only about 4 ingredients and works so well together; You can honestly use this sauce with any protein customization and it will come out just as satisfying! Serve over a bed of rice, or as a lettuce wrap!

What you’ll need:

  • 1-2lbs shrimp

  • salt and pepper

  • 2 T kewpie Japanese mayonnaise

  • 2 T sriracha

  • 2 T sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

  • 1-2 stalks green onions

Instructions:

  1. Chop green onions into small slices and set aside

  2. Prepare shrimp by patting dry and seasoning with salt and pepper

  3. Airfry shrimp at 390 for about 10 minutes

  4. Transfer shrimp into mixing bowl and set aside to cool slightly

  5. Prepare bang bang sauce by combining mayo, sriracha, sweet chili, garlic powder, and sesame oil

  6. Toss shrimp and sauce together until every shrimp is coated

  7. Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
