Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos
BACON WRAPPED SPICY ITALIAN STUFFED JALAPENOS…. do I really need to say more? This scrumptious appetizer is the perfect plate for sharing. It is on the heaver side, so I do like to pair it with a nice spicy hot sauce for dipping (my fav is tapito and ranch mixed together or marinara ). I love using jalapenos because it leaves a nice hint of spice in the background. Ive also made this exact recipe with sweet mini bell peppers, and I LOVED the contrast of sweet that it gives this dish! Try it with both!
Instructions:
Start off by prepping jalapenos
-Rinse, pat dry
-Slice in half longways and deseed
-Set aside
Remove sausage “skins” by cutting into sausages and pulling away skin until you’re left with just the ground meat inside. Add to a mixing bowl. Set aside.
Add cream cheese to same sausage mixing bowl and combine well. Set aside.
Slice bacon in half longways until one slice turns into two. Set aside. (You can use one entire bacon slice if desired).
Take one jalapeño slice at a time and stuff with heaping spoonfuls of sausage mixture.
Wrap each stuffed jalapeno with bacon slice. Continue until all jalapenos are stuffed.
Airfry at 400 for about 10-15 minutes or until meats are cooked though (sausage should reach an internal temp of 165) and bacon is crispy.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh chopped parsley
Enjoy right away with your favorite dipping sauce! I love using spicy ranch or marinara !
