Jalapeno Bacon Shrimp Crisps
Need a 20 minute appetizer idea? THIS IS IT. Jalapeno bacon shrimp crisps are SOO easy to make, delicious, and definitely a SHOW STOPPER. They are inspired by my fav jalapeno poppers! I used bacon crisps as my “bacon”, but if you have extra time, airfry some bacon and chop It up and add it to the cream cheese ! I love making a lot and bringing them to parties and potlucks; They are the perfect bite.
Instructions:
Prep shrimp
-Rinse, peel shell off, remove tail and devien
-Pat shrimp dry with paper bowl and transfer to a mixing bowl
-Season with garlic powder, paprika, ranch seasoning, salt, and black pepper
-Airffry at 370 for about 7-10 minutes or until cooked through and golden
While shrimp are air frying, prep jalapeno cream cheese
-Rinse, and pat dry jalapeno
-Slice jalapeno in half and de-seed if you don’t want too much spice.
-Cut into long slices and save a few for garnish
-Cut the rest into small pieces
To a mixing bowl, add chopped jalapeno pieces
-Add cream cheese
-Season mixture with onion powder, dill, and pickle juice
-Mix well
*Tip; if cream cheese is not softened, use gloves and mix with hands for ease
-Set aside
Once shrimp is cooked through and cooled down slice if half longways (butterflied). Set aside.
Time to assemble
-Grab one cheese crisp at a time and spread some jalapeno cream cheese mixture
-Top with shrimp
-Place on serving plate
-Repeat until desired amount
-Garnish with jalapenos on top
