The Viral Rice Paper Noodles Hack (Easy Black Vinegar Noodle Sauce)
After learning about this rice paper noodle hack, I knew I had to try it and put my spin into the sauce ! This sauce is actually one of my favorite dipping sauces to make for dumplings, and I thought it would be perfect for this hack !
Instructions:
Start off by poaching beef meatballs in boiling water for about 3-5 minutes or until cooked though . Drain and set aside .
Clean, pat dry, and slice cucumber and green onions .
-Cut cucumber into bite sized pieces
-Chop green onions
-Set aside
Fill up a large shallow pan with lukewarm water, and set aside.
Stack 5 sheets of rice paper on top of each other and dunk together into the pan of lukewarm water . Use your fingers to quickly push out any air pockets from underneath the water . This should take no more than 20 seconds.
Remove entire stacked sheet and place onto a microwave safe bowl .
Pour some clean water on top in the middle of the rice paper stack and microwave for 30 seconds— remove and set aside on the plate to get soft .
While the rice paper is softening— prepare sauce .
In a small mixing bowl, combine sweetened black vinegar, seasoning sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, and chopped green onions. Mix well to combine .
Place rice paper sheet onto a large cutting board and use your fingers to push out any air pockets . Carefully use a sharp knife to cut into noodle strands— I cut mine into about 6 large noodles .
*I recommend cutting into 12 noodles for easier bites
Place noodle strands into a serving bowl and drizzle in sauce. Mix well to coat all noodles evenly .
Place meatballs and cucumbers on top. Followed by a sprinkle of fried garlic.
*You can sub fried garlic with 1 small pressed garlic clove (remember it will be more intense if using fresh).
Enjoy right away !
