Coconut Peppermint Matcha Latte

COCONUT PEPPERMINT MATCHA LATTE; I know it sounds like a lot, but trust me when I say this is sooo delicious and is a great summer drink. The coconut milk gives it a nice creaminess without being too overwhelming; The matcha is the perfect boost of mild caffeine; and the peppermint is just enough to cool down your stomach; Together, its the most refreshing drink EVER .I was first introduced to this delicious drink from my past coworker/friend Missie when I used to work in the salon as a hairdresser and it would give me a nice afternoon pick-me-up with the perfect boost and it tasted amazing ! Drizzle your cup with some caramel if you want an extra sweet treat! I don’t know why it took me so long to remake this at home, but let me show you how easy it is1

What you’ll need:

Servings-1

  • 1 tsp matcha powder

  • 1/4 cup hot water

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2 pumps sugar free peppermint syrup

  • 1 cup ice

  • caramel (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start by prepping matcha

    -Add 1 tsp of matcha powder to a 8-12 oz drinking glass

    -Add 1/4 cup of hot water

    -Use a handheld frother to mix; OR mix with a spoon well

    -Froth for about 30 seconds until well combined

    -If using caramel, drizzle caramel on sides of drinking glass

  2. Add 2 pumps of peppermint syrup into drinking glass

  3. Add 1 cup ice to drinking glass

  4. Add coconut milk to drinking glass

  5. Mix well and ENJOY!!
