Cheese Pickle in A Blanket

I have ALWAYS loved pickles ever since I was little and my love for pickles and cheese have gotten even stronger as i’ve gotten older and discovered they pair fantastic with a glass of wine placed strategically on a wooden board !! These are definitely on the saltier side— id suggest having them as a “beer snack”, with wine, or SHARED on a platter with your pickle-loving friends and family!! I decide to whip these up after I kept getting tagged on some viral cheese wrapped pickle on social media since you all know me and pickles go a long way— like why not put them in a blanket??— pickles get cold too!! If you try this— tag me, id love to see your foodie photos (:.

What you’ll need:

Servings: 8

  • 4 large pickles

  • block cheese of choice (I used Colby jack)

  • 1 can pre-made biscuit dough

Instructions:

  1. Start off by cutting thin blocks of cheese and set aside.

  2. Slice pickles in half and pat dry thoroughly

  3. Pop open can of store-bough pre-made biscuit dough and roll out each biscuit until they become flat circles— almost like a thin pizza

  4. Take one pickle at time along with a generous amount of cheese blocks and roll until biscuit looks like an “eggroll”. Once rolled, pinch sides up to secure—so that way melted cheese does not seep through . Continue until all pickles are rolled up.

  5. Airfry pickle blankets at 330F for about 10-12 minutes and be sure to flip them hallway through cook time.

  6. Transfer to a serving dish and let cool slightly before enjoying!

*These would pair so well with a ranch dipping sauce or even a hot sauce!

*Try customizing the fillings— i’m sure these would be so tasty with cream cheese, salami, and pickles in the blanket !
